| Palazzo Pizzo Guest Residence |
The residence has its own entrance from a small piazza located in the historic center of Pizzo.
A stairways leads to a spectacular vaulted cellar which is located on a rock, 54 meters above sea level.
In the last centuries the cellar was used as warehouse for olive oil and soap.
We restored the cellar with special techniques of insulation. The natural stone walls and ceilings are preserved.
Our guest apartment sleeps 2-4 persons. The one bedroom is connected to a living area with a sofa bed. The newly installed bathroom features a rain shower under a vaulted ceiling with sea view. From the living and dining area with a modern kitchenette you have access to a private garden terrace on top of the cliff. All windows, a small balcony and the terrace are facing the sea. You can enjoy breathtaking 180 degree sea and sunset vistas over the Santa Eufemia Bay.
On clear days you can spot the active volcano Stromboli, which is part of the Aeolie islands. In spring, you might also see dolphins in the bay.

Right below the residence, a new yacht haven and lungomare (seafront) is on the way.
You can reach the residenceby by car (taxi) in 20 min from Lamezia airport. From the Piazza della Republica, the main piazza in the historic center of Pizzo, it is only a 2 minute walk.
Breakfast and parking can be arranged.
Our renovation work was completed in early 2012 and final adjustments are in progress.

Update June 2012: We need to repaint some walls. I want to check out the apartment to be sure everything is functioning before renting out. Therefor there is a slight delay with the "opening". Sorry and grazie for you understanding.
Update March 2013:
Everything seems to be fine and I will check everything again in April. We should be ready to rent out by May 2013.
